So this week's question is "has my vision, my motivation changed in my coaching career and my coaching journey?"
Absolutely. You know, there's no doubt when I first started coaching, I was 14 years of age and I was coaching for a little bit of pocket money. And that was my driving force. I was just coaching to pay for a few little things that I wanted to buy when I was 14.
And I moved into a path where I was about 21, 22 and finished playing. And my vision was to be the best coach in the world. I just wanted to override anyone and everyone. I wanted the best information. I want to learn so much. I wanted to create the best players, better than anyone around. And as you get older, it changed a little bit. And now I still want to make every player that I coach the best player they can be.
But also I have a motivation to get up every morning. And that's having two kids. You know, you wake up every morning and you're driving force is to make sure you do the best job you can for the players in front of you so that you can put food on the table. So there's a lot of a lot of things that drive people in life. And my vision is still to create and help people achieve their dreams. And I've always wanted to do that.
You know, I never achieved the dreams that I wanted to be on the center stage and coach athletes to be the best players that I could. Now I want to coach athletes to be the best player they can be and to achieve things that I never got to achieve in my playing career. So there's so many different ways to to be driven and to be motivated. But right now, it's I just want people to be happy.
I want people to to love the game. I want people to achieve everything that they dream and they set out to achieve. And that's my driving force. Now, it's changed so much over time and you learn so much over time that that changes your thoughts. But, I just hope that every single player that I come in contact with is is motivated by me and driven to achieve their best. And that's all I can ever ask for.
